As she listened to the painful account of violence and division, the Lord commissioned her as an intercessor for Washington, D.C., revealing that He has plans for the city beyond human perception. The Holy Spirit began to show her the immense influence that flows from D.C.—influence that reverberates worldwide. God gave her a vision of “1 million intercessors” lifting D.C. in prayer and redefined it as "the Divine City." So when Pastor Amy prays for D.C., she calls it Divine City and intercedes for God’s purpose to be fulfilled in every corner of the nation’s capital. Regardless of what her natural eye may see, she prays with faith, declaring God’s intentions for this influential city.
